IAEE DFW Chapter

20 Mar 2025

Event Recap: Charity & Cocktails

The IAEE DFW Chapter came together to volunteer at the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), whose mission is to close the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food. Our group made a significant impact by packing boxes for the Food 4 Kids Program. This program collaborates with educators to identify chronically hungry students and provides them with a bag of nutritious, nonperishable, kid-friendly food every Friday afternoon. The Food 4 Kids Program operates in over 250 elementary and middle schools across North Texas, ensuring children have access to food during the weekends.

After a productive 1.5-hour packing session, our group gathered for a networking event at Rodeo Goat. This annual event not only supports our chapter's charitable mission but also offers a wonderful opportunity for our members to connect and spend time together.

  • I am active in the IAEE DFW Chapter because the networking and education events are an invaluable tool for my growth both personally and professionally. We are such a diverse chapter that I know someone in the chapter can help me with solution for a problem that I might have at my organization.
