The IAEE DFW and Southwest Chapters came together to host a vibrant member reception during Expo! Expo! in Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Guests enjoyed an evening of live music, great food, and meaningful networking opportunities.

A highlight of the event was introducing chapter members to students from the University of North Texas and representatives from The Annabelle Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering students from diverse backgrounds. Through mentorship and industry connections, the organization helps foster workforce readiness and professional growth for the next generation of event professionals.

This reception was a wonderful example of how our chapters create spaces for connection, collaboration, and community impact.
